Why it matters

What’s worth making, whether it’s good, and how to finish it.

When AI can make almost anything, students need all three. They practice them hands-on, on a project of their own.

  • 01 · Learn

AI tools, on their own project

Professional tools for research, design, code, and video, each learned on the student’s own project.

  • 02 · Choose

    A project worth making

A sport, a cause, a hobby, or a subject they love. Every decision stays theirs.

  • 03 · Finish

    Something real

A working version anyone can open at a link, tested with real people and presented on the last day.

The four days

From an idea to a demo.

Short lessons each morning, then project time with our team beside every student.

Choose a project

Students pick something they care about and write a one-page plan.

Where it comes from

The same approach, run before.

  • International School of Beijing · Summer 2026

    A five-day student program

Over five days, students built working websites and apps with AI and presented them to judges, on the school’s campus with mentors in the room.

What the research says

Students use AI. Few are taught to use it well.

Three findings from RAND’s national surveys of students. Each links to its source.

Does my child need to know how to code?

No. Students use AI coding tools to make their project, learn how it works, and make every decision along the way.

What kind of project can they make?

Anything they care about: a study tool, a club or cause website, a game, or a family tool. Day one helps them choose.

Is using AI just cheating?

No. AI is a helper. Students make the decisions and, on the last day, explain how their project works and why.

How is this different from the Entrepreneurship & AI Intensive?

It is shorter and starts from a personal interest, not a startup idea. The five-day Intensive covers the full path from idea to pitch.

What happens after the four days?

Students keep the project, its code, and its link. To keep going, ask about our Year-Long Project Mentorship.
