A case, the reasons it worked, and a live build
The case: what students built in five days
Over five days, ISB students built working websites and apps with AI and presented them to judges from Harvard, Stanford, Y Combinator, and AI labs.
Why it worked
The program starts from lasting skills like creativity and judgment, with AI strengthening the learning instead of replacing it.
Build a website, live, with the room
We start from a pre-built site and add the sections and features you call out, so you see what it takes to turn ideas into a working website.
Take it back to your school
You leave with a planning checklist and a guide to accessing AI tools on school networks.
Teachers use AI. Schools are still deciding how.
Three findings from RAND’s national surveys. Each links to its source.
- 53%
of English, math, and science teachers said they used AI for school in 2025, up more than 15 points in one to two years.

- 34%
of teachers reported school or district policies on AI use related to academic integrity.

U.S. districts had trained teachers on generative AI by fall 2024, double the year before. Many built the training themselves after struggling to find outside partners.
